Installation
- How do I measure for my shower door?
You can find help here that will guide you step-by-step for measuring for your custom shower door. You will want to capture the finished height you’d like the glass panels to be, along with widths and ‘out-of-plumb’ conditions.
- What is an “out of plumb” condition?
Typically all showers have conditions that are out of plumb. Don’t worry, this doesn’t mean that your bathroom cannot have a shower door installed. Out of Plumb conditions indicate where the walls may lean in or out a fraction of an inch. It is important to capture these conditions and put them into the shower builder so your custom glass fits perfect!
- How do I clean and care for my shower door?
Water stains are the most common and most difficult stains on glass shower doors and fixtures. There are a wide variety of at-home cleaning solutions (including vinegar and water) that can be used to remove hard water stains. We also recommend a high quality glass cleaner (Spray-Away) and Mr Clean Magic Erasers to help eliminate the most stubborn stains. Once stains are removed, a daily wipe or squeegee treatment will keep your shower glass looking brand new!
- How should I hang my mirror?
Mirrors can be hung a variety of ways. Traditionally mirrors are hung with plastic mirror clips. You can also purchase Mirro-Mastic to apply to the wall. Other installation options include custom framing, which all will depend on your final design.
